Go Ahead Eagles director Jan Willem van Dop has confirmed that team captain Joris Kramer has been given the opportunity to make a transfer, although the new trainer wants to keep him. Joris Kramer is a 29-year-old Dutch centre-back. Speaking in the Oosttribune, Van Dop explained that an agreement is in place giving Kramer until August 1 to find a new club, provided a good offer is made by PSV, Ajax, Feyenoord, AZ, or a foreign team. The director also revealed that initial contact from FC Groningen was rejected, that an offer from a Turkish club was considered disrespectful and did not receive a response, and that no satisfactory bid has been submitted so far. Kramer joined Go Ahead Eagles in July 2023, and his contract runs until 2028. His current market value is €1.80m, according to Transfermarkt.
