John Lundstram leaving Trabzonspor?

John Lundstram is expected to join Hull City as a free agent. Hull City is currently facing a transfer ban that prevents them from purchasing players for a fee in the current transfer window, so they are targeting free agents and loan deals.

Lundstram is not considered for the new season by the head coach Fatih Tekke, and Trabzonspor is planning to part ways with him. Contract termination negotiations with his agent are almost complete.

John Lundstram, who joined Trabzonspor on a free transfer after leaving Rangers, is reportedly free to leave Trabzonspor 12 months after his arrival. He scored four times in 44 appearances but faced criticism from fans following Trabzonspor's Conference League exit to St Gallen. He still has two years remaining on his contract, but is not part of head coach Fatih Tekke's plans for the new campaign.

Lundstram is not part of Trabzonspor's plans for the upcoming season, indicating a potential departure.

John Lundstram is at the centre of a row after Trabzonspor's technical director Senol Gunes criticized him. Gunes expressed his confusion over the Lundstram transfer, noting that the team already has several players with similar characteristics. He described Lundstram as a very heavy and cumbersome football player and mentioned that although there is nothing that can be done at the moment, it would be beneficial for both Lundstram and the team if an opportunity to send him to another team arises.
