Football League World has revealed that Oxford United were interested in reaching an agreement with Huddersfield Town for Joe Taylor before the summer transfer window.

Oxford United have been linked with Huddersfield Town forward Joe Taylor, who is expected to be the subject of transfer competition this summer following an impressive loan spell at Wigan Athletic. Oxford are considering a summer move for the centre forward, alongside Preston North End. Other Championship clubs are also thought to be interested in Taylor.
