According to A BOLA, there is strong interest from the current Bulgarian champion in João Goulart. Casa Pia is requesting a fee of approximately 1.5 million euros for João Goulart, an amount Levski Sofia could afford if they advance in the Champions League. An official proposal has not yet been received by Casa Pia. Casa Pia's initial asking price was higher, but the fee is being lowered because João Goulart is entering the last year of his contract. The primary proponent of the potential signing of Goulart is Levski's coach Julio Velázquez.

According to Sportal.bg, Casa Pia captain João Gular is in Sofia to undergo medical examinations and is expected to sign a contract with Levski by the end of the day.
