Galatasaray has approached PSV regarding their 29-year-old Dutch captain, Jerdy Schouten. Fabrizio Romano reported on Sunday afternoon that the Turkish club intended to negotiate a potential deal for the defensive midfielder. Despite interest from multiple clubs, the Eredivisie leaders are not willing to cooperate with a transfer in January. PSV views Schouten as a key player, and consequently, a winter departure is considered non-negotiable. Schouten, who has 15 caps for the Netherlands, is under contract until June 2030. His current market value is €22.00m, according to Transfermarkt. In the 2025/2026 Eredivisie season, he has made 18 appearances, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
