Transfermarkt has reported that Crystal Palace turned down a bid from Atalanta for their 28-year-old French striker, Jean-Phillippe Mateta. The bid, which amounted to approximately €35 million, was rejected by Crystal Palace, who are seeking a higher fee. Additionally, there is interest from Saudi clubs in Mateta, who is contracted with the London club until 2027. Transfermarkt also noted that Mateta's current market value stands at €30 million, which marks a notable increase from his €8 million valuation in December 2023.
