According to sources who spoke to Football Insider, Hull City are interested in signing Birmingham City striker Jay Stansfield following their promotion to the Premier League. Sources have indicated that Stansfield possesses many of the qualities Hull are looking for in a striker. A £25 million valuation has been set for the striker after he performed impressively for Birmingham in their return to the Championship last season. There is interest from the Premier League this summer, and a number of clubs are tracking him. Birmingham's £25 million valuation is due to their desire to make a substantial profit on Stansfield.

According to SportsBoom, Hull City are interested in signing 23-year-old English forward Jay Stansfield from Birmingham City. The same source reports that Everton, Ipswich Town, and Sunderland are also interested in signing the player. Birmingham are reportedly set to demand a club-record asking price of over €35m (£30m) for the forward, who was involved in 16 goals last season, scoring 10 and providing six assists in 44 Championship appearances.
