Jari De Busser Transfer from Go Ahead Eagles to Feyenoord
Algemeen Dagblad reports that Feyenoord are now also showing interest in Jari De Busser because coach Robin van Persie wants to bring in a new goalkeeper this winter following Justin Bijlow's departure to Genoa. According to the report, De Busser's name has been mentioned at De Kuip, but it is currently not clear how concrete the interest is. Jari De Busser told VI that he has not yet heard anything about it and has not seen the rumors. He also said that he knows nothing as long as he does not hear from his agent, and that he only hears something if there is something really going on, which is not the case now. Go Ahead Eagles would prefer their number one not to leave this winter. However, a departure for De Busser could be negotiable in the summer, as he will enter his final contract year then.
Feyenoord is reportedly interested in Go Ahead Eagles' Belgian goalkeeper Jari de Busser. The penalty specialist has apparently attracted the Rotterdam club's attention with his excellent performances and is seen as a potential successor to Justin Bijlow, who left for Genoa on Tuesday. Feyenoord is seeking a new goalkeeper this winter to provide competition for Timon Wellenreuther. De Busser is not the only Go Ahead player linked with the club. The 26-year-old goalkeeper, who has a contract until the summer of 2027, also attracted interest from RSC Anderlecht in recent weeks. De Busser himself stated to Voetbal International regarding past rumors that he does not consider anything concrete until his agent contacts him, and while he does not anticipate a quick departure, he acknowledged his previous transfer was completed in a matter of days. De Busser, who joined Go Ahead Eagles in August 2024, has made 19 Eredivisie appearances this season and has a current market value of €3.00m according to Transfermarkt. French club Lorient has also been linked with the goalkeeper.
