FC Utrecht has secured a purchase option of two million euros for Artem Stepanov, a 19-year-old Ukrainian centre-forward who is on loan from Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Should the Eredivisie club exercise this option, Bayer 04 would then be able to buy the Ukrainian back for a sum of four million euros. Stepanov joined the Dutch club in January 2026. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €5.00m. He has earned 7 caps for the Ukraine U21 team, scoring one goal.
