Jan Ziółkowski, a 20-year-old, is considering a departure from AS Roma this summer because of a lack of playing time. The three-time Poland international is being monitored by clubs from the Premier League, including Newcastle United, as well as teams from France, Holland, and Italy. Scouts from England have watched the central defender play on several occasions. According to a person from the player's entourage, they are considering every option that would lead to him playing more, and this includes a potential transfer. Ziółkowski, who has a contract until 2030, joined Roma from Legia Warszawa in August 2025 for a fee reported as €6.6 million. He has made 14 appearances in Serie A this season. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €12.00m.
