Jan-Carlo Simić Transfer from Anderlecht to RB Leipzig
RB Leipzig has expressed interest in Jan-Carlo Simic, a Serbian defender currently playing for RSC Anderlecht, and is scouting him as a potential acquisition. Simic is viewed as a candidate for departure from Anderlecht, with additional interest arising from clubs in the Bundesliga and Serie A. Eintracht Frankfurt is another Bundesliga club that has reportedly shown interest in Simic following his performances this season. Earlier in January, Galatasaray made an inquiry about him, but it was noted that Simic was not interested in the move. A summer transfer remains a possibility, with his market value now estimated to be 8 million euros, according to Transfermarkt. Anderlecht, who initially acquired Simic from AC Milan for 2.7 million euros, may hope to secure a transfer fee exceeding 8 million euros, although they will need to share 20% of the profit with AC Milan. The club is eager to sell players to fund new signings, targeting a figure in the double-digit millions.
