Jamie Leweling Transfer from VfB Stuttgart to AFC Bournemouth
Bournemouth reportedly made a 40 million euro offer for Jamie Leweling to replace Antoine Semenyo, but Stuttgart rejected the offer because they are seeking a higher amount. Bournemouth were prepared to pay around £35M for Leweling, according to Transfer News Live. The player is valued at 25 million euros by Transfermarkt.
AFC Bournemouth have identified VfB Stuttgart's 24-year-old winger Jamie Leweling as a potential replacement for Antoine Semenyo, who is linked with Manchester City. AFC Bournemouth made a verbal offer of 40 million euros for the German international to Stuttgart's sporting director, Fabian Wohlgemuth. It is said that Wohlgemuth immediately rejected the proposal, stating that Leweling is not for sale this winter. Stuttgart previously blocked moves for the player last summer when there was interest from Nottingham Forest and Juventus Turin. Leweling joined Stuttgart in July 2024 and has one goal and five assists in 14 Bundesliga appearances this season. The forward has four caps and one goal for Germany. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €25.00m. Leweling's contract with Stuttgart runs until 2029.
