It is said that Wohlgemuth immediately rejected the proposal, stating that Leweling is not for sale this winter. Stuttgart previously blocked moves for the player last summer when there was interest from Nottingham Forest and Juventus Turin. Leweling joined Stuttgart in July 2024 and has one goal and five assists in 14 Bundesliga appearances this season. The forward has four caps and one goal for Germany.
