William Mirwasser, a defender for Hong Kong FC, has received interest from Everton, the Championship side Blackburn Rovers, and other European clubs. The 17-year-old, who wants to return to Europe, is in contact with both the Toffees and Blackburn. During the recent international break, Mirwasser visited the training centres of both English clubs and also plans to visit RC Strasbourg and US Lecce in November. According to a source close to the player, the purpose of these trips is to see the facilities and discuss his future. The source added that nothing is decided, that he is taking time to explore all options, and that he will commit to a new club next summer. FIFA regulations prevent Mirwasser from leaving Hong Kong FC until he turns 18 next August, and interested clubs will have to wait until August 28th, 2027, to sign him.
