McConnell is currently on loan at Ajax, where he has made 4 appearances in the Eredivisie this season, and has been capped by England at U20 level. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €2.00m. His move to Ajax in August 2025 was for a fee reported to be €1.5 million.
