According to TYC, Estudiantes de La Plata and Tigre reached an agreement for the transfer of Jalil Elías on the final day of the transfer window. Elías is a 30-year-old midfielder who was born in Argentina and represents Syria internationally. He will sign an 18-month contract. Just days prior, he had also been a target for Independiente. The transfer will be paid for using a payment installment from the recent deal involving Mauro Méndez, who moved between the two clubs in the opposite direction. Elías has 9 caps for Syria, and his current market value is €1.80m, according to Transfermarkt.
