Coventry City have looked at the Angers defender Jacques Ekomie.

Coventry City have a strong interest in Jacques Ekomié, a 22-year-old left wing-back from Angers. The club faces significant competition, with reports indicating that discussions with RC Strasbourg are advancing positively, while a transfer to Villarreal is said to be especially appealing to the player. Angers aims to obtain a transfer fee between €7 million and €10 million for Ekomié, whose contract extends until 2027.
