Ivan Vasiljevic Transfer from Partizan to Getafe
Getafe, a club from Madrid, has confirmed it has signed 21-year-old Serbian and Spanish defender Ivan Vasiljević, a former member of Partizan, on a two-year contract. Vasiljević, who was born and developed as a player in Spain, had previously been a member of Atletico Madrid's B team and Union Collado before joining Partizan. He spent the spring on loan at Racing Santander B, where he played 11 matches in Spain's fourth division at both center-back and right-back. After returning from the loan, Vasiljević was not in manager Saša Ilić's plans, and a departure was sought. Getafe signed him for its B team during the final stages of the transfer window; its B team also competes in the fourth tier of Spanish football. Vasiljević has nine caps for the Serbia U19 team. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €25k.
