I. Toney Transfer from Al Ahli to Everton

TEAMtalk reports that Everton's interest in Toney is serious, and that David Moyes has identified him as a proven goal scorer who could help the club move up the table. Everton officials have demanded firm assurances over Toney’s salary demands and willingness to commit long-term before advancing negotiations.

Everton are among several Premier League clubs considering a January move for Ivan Toney and are one of the main clubs interested. Reports claim Toney is open to a Premier League return. According to Sky Sports, numerous top-flight clubs have made enquiries about a January deal. It is thought Toney’s transfer fee would not be an issue, but his wages could prove to be an obstacle if the forward does not accept a reduction in his current salary.

According to Team Talk, Everton are taking a cautious approach towards a potential transfer for Toney. The club has been long linked with the forward. David Moyes admires the forward but is wary of squad disharmony. Everton may yet move if injuries occur or if a sale is secured, but for now harmony is being prioritised over firepower.

Everton are looking to sign a new striker in January and are interested in Al-Ahli's Ivan Toney, but they will face competition from West Ham United. According to football insider, Everton's interest in the 29-year-old English forward is concrete, and the club hopes to sign him in the coming months as a quality replacement for Beto. West Ham manager David Moyes also feels Toney would be a quality addition and an ideal fit for his side's style of play. The striker has scored nine goals in 12 matches for his Saudi Arabian club this season, and a return to the Premier League could boost his chances of featuring in the 2026 World Cup. However, convincing Al-Ahli to sell one of their best players may not be easy. Toney joined the Saudi club in August 2024 and has a contract until June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, he has a market value of €25.00m.
