Montréal has the option to acquire 80% of the economic rights for Spanish attacking midfielder Iván Jaime, aged 24, provided he participates in 60% of the games. The purchase price is variable, being set at €5 million if the option is exercised by the end of January, or increasing to €5.5 million if exercised by the end of May. It is understood that Iván Jaime, among other players transferred from FC Porto, is unlikely to return to the club. The transactions involving him and others have the potential to generate over €20 million for FC Porto if all purchase options are utilized. FC Porto has already secured €1.465 million from these immediate transactions. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €5 million.
