The Turkish club Beşiktaş has made an official offer of €15 million to Venezia for the 22-year-old Italian-Ivorian central midfielder, Issa Doumbia. While negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing, the player and the Istanbul management have already agreed on personal terms. Several other clubs are also monitoring the situation, including Inter, Milan, and Roma in Italy, and Benfica, Sporting Lisbon, Newcastle, and Everton from abroad. Doumbia, who is an Italy U21 international, joined Venezia from AlbinoLeffe in July 2024 for a reported €1.0 million, and his contract is valid until 2029. His current market value is €8.00m. The offer meets Venezia's asking price from April 2026, which came after the club reportedly rejected multiple offers of around €6 million during the January 2026 window.
