Al Ittihad have made 28-year-old Senegalese winger Ismaïla Sarr a priority target to replace Moussa Diaby and have already started talks with Crystal Palace. Al Ittihad have been informed of interest from Liverpool, which is considered Sarr's preferred option, but the club still believes a deal is possible. Sarr, who has 87 caps for Senegal, joined Crystal Palace in August 2024 and his contract runs until 2029. During August 2026, Crystal Palace reportedly set an asking price of €60 million, with reports suggesting a €45 million offer from Galatasaray had been rejected.
