Jhon Durán is regularly on the bench at Benfica, where he has scored twice in 12 appearances, and remains under contract with his parent club, Al-Nassr, until 2030. He left Aston Villa for Al-Nassr in a €77 million transfer in January 2025. Following difficulties in Saudi Arabia, Duran had an unsuccessful loan at Fenerbahce that was terminated early and another temporary spell at Zenit St Petersburg.
