Hearts had hoped to present Kazakhstan winger Islam Chesnokov to supporters at half-time on Saturday. The new recruit's flight was delayed, and he did not arrive in Edinburgh until approximately 4.30pm. McInnes is hopeful the player will be registered in time to face Dundee next Sunday. The player will go through his visa application on Monday.

According to the Daily Record, Islam Chesnokov is scheduled to arrive in the capital on Friday to finalize his pre-contract move to Hearts from Tobol. There were reports that Chesnokov might not honor the pre-contract agreement with Hearts. McInnes is thrilled that the situation is nearing a resolution. Chesnokov will be at the game on Saturday but will not be able to play. McInnes hopes the registration and paperwork can be completed quickly at the start of next week, which would make him available for Dundee the following Sunday.
