Isaac Olaofe, 26, has completed a season-long loan move to Lincoln City from Charlton Athletic. According to South London Sport: Charlton Athletic Edition, the agreement contains an option to buy. The forward had joined Charlton from Stockport County last summer and was also loaned back to Stockport in January. Lincoln City's sporting director, Jez George, stated that the club's interest in Olaofe is long-standing, and that they first attempted to buy him from Sutton United four years ago. George also stated that the possibility of a loan to another Championship club had only arisen in the past few days and that an option to purchase has been secured, which can be exercised next summer if certain conditions are met. Nathan Jones told Charlton’s official website that with competition for places at the club, Olaofe was unlikely to get the playing time he needed, and that the move to Lincoln represents an excellent opportunity for him while also creating space in the Charlton squad.
