Ajax's new technical director, Jordi Cruijff, is exploring the possibility of signing surplus players from FC Barcelona on either a loan or a permanent basis in the upcoming transfer window. Spanish goalkeeper Iñaki Peña, 27, is reportedly one of six players being considered. The potential transfer of Peña to the Netherlands is considered feasible. It is said that Cruijff has already communicated with Barcelona regarding the availability of several players. Peña is currently on loan at Elche CF, and his contract with FC Barcelona is valid until 2029. According to Transfermarkt, the uncapped Spanish player has a current market value of €5.00m.
