Sergio Levinton, the agent for Ignacio Malcorra, confirmed that an inquiry was made by people from Racing Club regarding the 38-year-old Argentinian midfielder. Malcorra's contract with Rosario Central is expiring. Levinton specified that he did not offer the player to them and added that he has received many inquiries since it became known Malcorra would be a free agent. In an interview with La Red (AM 910), Levinton stated that Rosario Central never contacted him or the player to discuss a contract renewal, which is contrary to claims made by the club's president.
