Manchester United have reportedly made an offer to 27-year-old French international Ibrahima Konaté. The centre-back has announced he will leave Liverpool as a free agent when his contract runs out this summer after talks for a new deal broke down. Spanish publication El Debate reports that United are among several clubs to have made offers and claims Konaté's preference is to join Real Madrid.
