Rangers have only made inquiries regarding Ibrahima Balde, who is not the club's first choice at present. According to journalist Sebastien Denis, the French forward is valued by Rodez at around £2.5 million, and the club hopes for 3 million euros for him.

According to RangersNews reporter Pranav Shahaney, Rodez centre-forward Ibrahima Balde is open to a move to Glasgow Rangers and wants to leave the Ligue 2 club before the transfer deadline. The journalist claims that the French forward is willing to move to Ibrox despite the absence of European football. Shahaney adds that the Light Blues have not yet made a formal approach for the 23-year-old attacker, but he remains under consideration.

According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Rodez AF forward Ibrahima Baldé is currently the leading candidate on Rangers' shortlist for a striker, though no formal offer has been submitted at this stage. Tavolieri described it as a situation to be watched. Rodez hold Ibrahima Baldé on a contract until 2030 and a transfer will likely cost between £3.5 million and £4 million. His market value is noted to be around €1.5 million.

Rangers are considering a move for Rodez AF's French and Senegalese striker Ibrahima Baldé as they seek to add another forward before the transfer window closes on 3 September. After finalising a deal for Kim Min-su, the Scottish club identified the 23-year-old as their next signing. The striker, who plays in the French second tier, is currently the leading candidate, although no offer has been made yet. The situation has been described as one that should be monitored. Baldé joined the club in July 2024 and has a contract until 2028. He has been capped once by France at U17 level, and his current market value is €2.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
