According to Tuttomercato, Hugo Cuenca has moved from Genoa to Celta Vigo, and the transfer is now listed among Genoa's official outgoing transfers.

Tuttomercato reported that Celta and Genoa CFC have reached an agreement for the loan of Hugo Cuenca, which includes an option to buy. Cuenca will strengthen Celta’s B team attack in the 2026/27 season. The Galician club published a statement on its official website.

Paraguayan attacking midfielder Hugo Cuenca, 21, is set to leave Genoa for Celta on a loan deal that includes a purchase option valued at 1 million euros. The player is expected to travel to Vigo in the coming hours. Cuenca, who has three caps for Paraguay, joined Genoa in February 2025 and has a contract that runs until 2028. His current market value is €300k, according to Transfermarkt.
