Reading FC have confirmed the signing of Bristol City's English defender Haydon Roberts, for an undisclosed fee. Arriving from Bristol City on a two-and-a-half-year deal, the 23-year-old is capable of playing anywhere across the back while predominantly featuring on the left-hand side. Leam Richardson said they were delighted to welcome Haydon to the club on a permanent deal. Roberts, who has been capped by England at U19 level, joined Bristol City in July 2023 and made 12 Championship appearances this season. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.20m.
