Haji Wright Transfer from Coventry City to Leeds United

Leeds United are interested in Haji Wright, according to LeedsUnitedNews. However, after discovering how much Coventry City are demanding for him, Leeds will pursue other targets. A potential exit in January will not happen.

Team Talk reports that Coventry City striker Haji Wright is linked with a move to Elland Road and that reports suggest he was also looked at in the summer.

According to Football Insider, Leeds United are reportedly monitoring Coventry City's 27-year-old striker Haji Wright as a potential transfer target. The USA international had scored nine goals in 13 games this season as of October 30th. However, Pete O'Rourke stated he did not expect Wright to be a top priority for Leeds in the January window, and suggested the club is instead looking for a wide attacking player or a creative midfielder. O'Rourke also mentioned that other clubs are likely observing the striker's performances. Coventry are chasing promotion, and O'Rourke stated his belief that the club will not consider any offers for Wright in the new year. Wright joined Coventry in August 2023 and is under contract until June 2027. His market value is €10.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
