However, Pete O'Rourke stated he did not expect Wright to be a top priority for Leeds in the January window, and suggested the club is instead looking for a wide attacking player or a creative midfielder. O'Rourke also mentioned that other clubs are likely observing the striker's performances. Coventry are chasing promotion, and O'Rourke stated his belief that the club will not consider any offers for Wright in the new year.
