It is reported that San Lorenzo is close to signing 30-year-old Argentinian centre-forward Gustavo del Prete, as negotiations for the player are in their final phase. The proposed deal includes a contract until December 2027. Del Prete has been a free agent since leaving Atlas at the beginning of July 2026.
