Eintracht Frankfurt has submitted an official offer for Gustavo Puerta and has taken action in recent hours to acquire him. It is not known if Eintracht Frankfurt is covering the player's release clause.

Eintracht Frankfurt and VfB Stuttgart have both inquired about 22-year-old midfielder Gustavo Puerta. His current team, Racing Santander, is demanding a transfer fee of €20 million for the player. Two offers of around €16 million have been received from England and Portugal, and there is also an offer from Russia worth the equivalent of €15 million.
