Brazilian-Italian forward Guilherme Schettine is leaving Moreirense to join Tianjin Jinmen Tiger, a club that finished sixth in the last Chinese championship. It was reported on Sunday that the player was moving to Chinese football and that his destination is Tianjin. The offer presented to the 30-year-old Schettine, Moreirense's top scorer in the 2025/26 Liga with nine goals and one assist in 15 appearances, was described as being financially difficult to refuse. The transfer allows Moreirense to receive financial compensation for the player, as his contract was scheduled to expire at the end of the current season. Schettine was not included on the match sheet for the recent game against Tondela. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.50m. His previous transfer with a reported fee was in July 2023, when he moved to Ural for €500,000.
