Borussia Dortmund's management wants to begin and possibly even complete contract talks with Gregor Kobel in the course of autumn, by mid-December. Gregor Kobel told SPORT BILD that he is very happy at BVB and really enjoys playing for the club and its fans. He added that he can imagine playing there for a long time.

Gregor Kobel is under contract until 2028, and Borussia plans to make contact toward the end of the year to discuss an extension.

Gregor Kobel is expected to continue as the goalkeeper for Borussia Dortmund in the upcoming season. With the Champions League qualification secured, it seems that the Swiss goalkeeper has shelved his transfer ambitions for the time being. Currently, Transfermarkt estimates his market value at 40 million euros.
