Nice has shown interest in signing 30-year-old Finland international Glen Kamara on loan. It is also reported that Ipswich and Leicester are interested in a similar deal. However, Stade Rennais is only open to a permanent transfer and has rejected all approaches. The club most recently rejected a loan with an option to buy from Norwich. It was reported that Kamara was tempted by this move. As the transfer window is closing, it appears the midfielder will remain in Brittany unless a last-minute offer is submitted. He is under contract with Rennes until June 2028. The midfielder has made 3 appearances in Ligue 1 this season. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €2.5 million. Rennes signed him from Leeds United in July 2024 for a fee reported to be €10 million.
