OGC Nice is actively seeking a new midfielder following a serious cruciate ligament injury to Laurent Abergel and, according to L'Equipe, has started discussions with FC Nantes for a loan of 23-year-old French player Johann Lepenant. Lepenant's contract with Nantes runs until 2029. Lorient and Toulouse have also been linked with the midfielder.
