Kryvbas's general director, Volodymyr Baienko, confirmed the permanent purchase of Gleiker Mendoza from Angostura after the club exercised its purchase option. The player and his staff also made the official announcement on social media. Botafogo is in ongoing negotiations with Kryvbas to sign Mendoza. Conversations for the transfer have always been between the two clubs, and following the acquisition, only terms with Botafogo need to be agreed upon for the transfer to proceed.
