Strasbourg, which is seeking an offensive reinforcement, is interested in Borussia Mönchengladbach's 23-year-old winger, Giovanni Reyna. The Alsatian club has started negotiations with the German club to recruit the American international, who also holds Portuguese citizenship and has 43 caps and 10 goals for the United States. Strasbourg views Reyna, a former Borussia Dortmund talent who has experienced difficulties in recent years, as a player to be relaunched. Borussia Mönchengladbach is open to the departure of the winger, whose contract is valid until June 2028. Reyna joined the club in August 2025 for a fee of €4.0 million, and his current valuation according to Transfermarkt is €4.00m. Reports from June 2026 suggested that Borussia Mönchengladbach would sell the player for less than the fee they paid.
