Gabriel Veron, a 24-year-old Brazilian winger, is seeking an exit from FC Porto, where he is not in the plans of first-team coach Francesco Farioli. The Japanese market is emerging as his most likely destination. Both FC Tokyo and Vissel Kobe are interested in the player. The club Remo has also made inquiries about a potential deal, but Veron is currently ruling out a return to Brazil. The player has one year remaining on his contract with FC Porto and will be able to sign freely with another club from January if he does not secure a transfer before then. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €2.50m. Porto's initial transfer for Veron from Palmeiras in July 2022 was reportedly for €12.4 million. Reports from December 2024 mentioned a €10 million buyout option related to a previous loan.
