Brazilian club Remo is negotiating with FC Porto for the transfer of Brazilian forward Gabriel Veron. The 23-year-old spent last season on loan at Nacional da Madeira. He is not part of coach Farioli's plans for the main team and is currently integrated with Porto's B team, although he was registered for the league. With Veron's contract valid until June 2027, FC Porto views this as one of the final chances to recover part of the 10.2 million euros invested in his signing from Palmeiras in 2022. The winger, who has been capped by Brazil at U23 level, has a current market value of €2.50m, according to Transfermarkt. Porto's total initial investment in July 2022 was reportedly €12.4 million, and reports from December 2024 mentioned a €10 million buyout option during a previous loan.
