Getafe and Real Valladolid were among several Spanish clubs to target 20-year-old Brazilian Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Gabriel Moscardo. The player also received offers from Monza in Italy and Colônia in Germany, but he is set to be loaned to Espanyol. The decision for Moscardo to move to Spain was made in agreement with PSG, as the French club believes he will have a greater opportunity for development there. His contract with the French club runs until 2028. Last season, he made 23 appearances in the Portuguese league while on loan at SC Braga. Moscardo has been capped once by the Brazil U23 national team, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €7.00m.
