Gabriel Jesus Transfer from Arsenal to Nottingham Forest
It is understood that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta blocked Gabriel Jesus’ exit from the Emirates Stadium this January despite enquiries from Premier League clubs West Ham United, Everton, and Nottingham Forest. The 28-year-old has also attracted interest from his native Brazil. The Daily Briefing first reported that Jesus remains part of Arteta’s first-team plans once he is back from injury and fully fit again. The player has been assured he will get playing time, as Arsenal are reportedly keen to keep their squad together with no major departures expected in the transfer window. The centre-forward has 64 caps and 19 goals for Brazil, joined the club in July 2022, and has a contract until June 2027. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €25.00m.
