Gabriel Brazão Transfer from Santos to FC Bayern München
According to journalist Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sport DE, a return to Europe is on the horizon for Santos' Brazilian goalkeeper Gabriel Brazão, who has attracted the attention of top European clubs with his impressive performances. After a period with little playing time at Inter, the 25-year-old moved to Santos last year and has since become one of the most promising goalkeepers in Brazil. Chelsea showed interest in him during the summer, and other suitors have now reportedly joined the race. Additionally, legendary Brazilian goalkeeper Júlio César has endorsed Bayern Munich to sign Brazão as a long-term successor for Manuel Neuer, whose contract expires next summer as he approaches his 39th birthday. César suggested that while Neuer is a Bayern idol, the club must think about the future, describing Brazão as a wonderful goalkeeper and one of the best in the world. The goalkeeper's contract with Santos runs until the end of 2028, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €8 million.
