Levski Sofia are among the teams credited with an interest in 26-year-old Croatian striker Franko Kovačević, who currently plays for Slovenian side Celje. The forward has scored 25 goals in his first 28 games during the 2025/26 season, following his move to the club last summer. Celtic and Ferencvaros are also reportedly monitoring Kovačević. Kovačević, who has one cap for the Croatia U21 team, is under contract with Celje until June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €1.30m. In January 2026, reports suggested Celje's asking price for the striker was between €3 million and €4 million.
