In an interview with Win Sports, Fabra explained he would not rule out playing for Millonarios, as he would like to honor his late father who was a fan of the team. He also confirmed that there was an initial approach from an agent concerning Atlético Nacional which did not progress, and noted that players such as Jorman Campuzano have encouraged him to join the club.
