After a reported unsuccessful attempt to sign Jacques Ekomié from SCO Angers, Hamburger SV has directed its interest towards Francisco Moura from FC Porto. According to the Portuguese sports journalist Sebastião Sousa-Pinto, an offer has been made for the 27-year-old left-back. The first bid from Germany is said to have been insufficient for the Portuguese side. However, all involved parties are reportedly confident that the Bundesliga club will soon improve its offer, and both Moura and the FC Porto management are optimistic that a transfer can be completed. Moura, a Portuguese national, joined FC Porto in September 2024 and has a contract that runs until 2029. He has 12 caps for Portugal's U20 team and a current market value of €9.00m on Transfermarkt. Other clubs, such as Fiorentina and Olympiakos Piraeus, have also reportedly been interested in the player.
