Bologna is among several clubs interested in Sampdoria's 20-year-old Italian midfielder Francesco Conti, with Atalanta and Torino also reportedly studying a potential deal. According to Tuttosport, Torino's technical director Davide Vagnati was recently present at a match to observe the player. Inter had also previously attempted to sign Conti in August. The interested clubs are considering a transfer in January which would involve paying a fee and loaning him back to Sampdoria for the rest of the season, an option the selling club would favor. This interest comes as Sampdoria is intensifying negotiations for a contract extension, as Conti's current deal expires on June 30, 2026. According to Transfermarkt, the player has a market value of €300k.
