FC Basel's 23-year-old Dutch centre-back Finn van Breemen is close to a transfer to Portugal, with a medical examination scheduled at FC Famalicão on Wednesday. It is said that the two clubs have good connections, as another player moved between them last summer. A transfer fee of one and a half million euros, including bonus payments, is under discussion. The Basel club has also secured a resale participation clause. If the medical is successful, van Breemen will sign a four-year deal. He joined from ADO Den Haag in 2023 for a reported €1.0 million with a contract until 2027. He has been capped six times for the Netherlands U21 team and his current market value is €2.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
