Fidel Ambríz, a Mexican midfielder with Monterrey, has reportedly caught the attention of several European clubs. Journalist Alejandro Orvananos indicated on the social network X (formerly known as Twitter) that Strasbourg is among the clubs interested in the 22-year-old. Ambríz showcased his skills in the 2025 Club World Cup with Monterrey, playing in four matches and contributing one assist. Besides Strasbourg, Zenit, Juventus, and Sporting are also competing to secure his services. Ambríz made the move to Monterrey from León in August 2024, with a transfer fee of €6.67 million, and his current market value is valued at approximately €5 million according to Transfermarkt.
